Description: Industrial parchment paper is made from 100% virgin wood pulp using a sulfuric acid parchmentization process. It is a plant-fiber-based material containing no animal hide, distinguishing it from sulfuric acid-processed tracing paper and food-grade baking parchment.
Also known as industrial vegetable parchment or sulfuric acid parchment, this paper is produced by treating the base paper with concentrated sulfuric acid to induce fiber gelatinization and dense cross-linking. It offers excellent water and oil resistance, high wet strength, and folding endurance. Classified as a specialty industrial barrier paper, it is available in natural white or various dyed colors and can be produced in either roll or sheet formats.

Distinguishing Between Easily Confused Paper Types
1. Industrial Parchment (GB/T 23758): Parchmentized, high wet strength, grease-resistant; intended for industrial use.
2. Food-Grade Parchment (GB 4806.8): Formulated for safe food contact; suitable for baking and food packaging.
3. Standard Tracing Paper (Sulphuric Acid Paper): Semi-transparent only; lacks grease resistance and wet strength; suitable only for printing and tracing, not for industrial applications requiring pressure resistance or grease separation.
